In my foolish infatuations,
Which didn't need much pacification.
I tried to entice and allure,
To tantalize, bewitch the very pure,
The one man I wanted to tempt,
Fascinate, intrigue and not prevent,
The frenzy that produces indiscretion.
And in the end, who really enjoyed the diversion?
