Something left my life in shadows.
The shadow’s of my past the pain too much to bear.
All seemed lost,
Just me and them
Though the hope of aid came from the most unlikely place.
From one that I call a friend

Never had I seen such courage and strength come from one person.
Yet it seemed she needed more help then I.
There is no way I could repay her from saving me from the dark.
She made the light shine on a dark and strange place.
Made me stronger and more mindful of what a life I truly have.
Though she does not know it,
She has helped me more then you could imagine.
She helped me to become who I am today.

Jane came to my aid.

And I thank her for what she has done.
