The latest personal watercraft is a unique choice with one of the features being that it’s environmentally friendly. It’s called the Quadrofoil.

Those in the market for a new personal watercraft may want to look at Slovenian company Quadrofoil, which bills their self titled machine as an unforgettable and eco-friendly choice.

Powered by an electric engine, the craft is also equipped with C-foil technology which allows the 4 water wings to lift it above the water surface for efficient cruising. The exceptionally quiet Quadrofoil produces zero emissions and reportedly leaves almost no waves in its wake.

The buoyancy element helps to reduce drag and improves battery usage and increase overall efficiency.

The craft is available in two models. The so-called Q2S has a top speed of nearly 25 miles per hour or 21 knots and has a range of more than 60 miles.

It can be fully recharged over the duration of 2 hours. The less expensive Q2A reaches a maximum speed of around 18 miles per hour.

Both models can carry two adults. Each measures five feet in width, 4 feet in height and 10 feet in length. The Quadrofoils are constructed out of composite materials and weigh approximately 220 pounds.

They are reportedly unsinkable due to the hollow hulls and have an anti-collision system, which absorbs impact in the event of a crash.

The two models are scheduled to ship in first 2 quarters of 2015 with prices ranging from $18,700 to $28,000.
