The former deputy prime minister shook hands with defence lawyer Gopal Sri Ram as he entered the federal court.
His wife, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, was with him as he arrived at court today.
Anwar's defence team is expected to give its closing reply after the prosecution's final submission Tuesday (November 4) that Anwar's former aide Saiful Bukhari Azlan was a victim of sexual abuse.
Anwar's defence team earlier questioned the DNA evidence which is said could have been contaminated and possibly tampered with.
His defence team was seen entering the courtroom with a trolley stacked with document boxes.
The prosecution team followed a short time later with a similar collection of boxes.
After the defence submission the five-m
