The design team of Rua 148, chosen to participate in ModaLisboa’s Sangue Novo (New Blood) program, is made of up of two friends: Italian Portuguese Elisa Boto; and Francisca Veiga, from Vila Nova de Famalicão. Their collection for Summer 2015 is a blending of their favorite passions, the sophistication of fashion and the creativity of visual arts. Et voila! Women’s wear with refined patterns of brush strokes, paint splotches and transparent plastic installations.
During the portuguese fashion week in Lisbon we can attend to the official "défilés" but also discover or review young fashion designers. These young fashion talents/designers are promoted through the "sangue novo" platform that gives them the chance to unveil (for some of them and for the first time) their collections.
