The Amazon Fire TV Stick recently got announced and it is a direct competitor to the Google Chromecast and Roku. The Fire TV Stick offers a few more options in terms of video streaming and a handful more in the music streaming department. Best of all, if you are an Amazon Prime member you could get the stick for $20 and you can use Amazon Prime Music and Instant video with the Fire Stick.
Overall I think the Amazon Fire Stick will give the Chromecast a good run for its money and it may force Google to either release a Chromecast 2.0 or work on getting more apps for the Chromecast. What do you think? Let me know below!
