How would you like to have your very own submarine? U-Boat Worx has launched a submersible called the HP Sport Sub 2.

The two-seater is described as both ultra small and lightweight. It is equipped with a touch-screen interface, air conditioning, underwater communication system, a special controller that allows the passenger to steer and a depth sounder.

In addition to that, the HP Sport Sub 2 has underwater lights, a navigation system and imaging sonar. The vessel only weighs just over 48 hundred pounds and measures approximately 50 inches in height.

The submarine can operate underwater for about 6 hours. The founder of U-Boat Worx referred to the design as attractive but also pointed out that functionality and safety are key elements in the concept.

The price for the HP Sport Sub 2 is listed at roughly $1.25 million. This vessel is the latest addition to the submersible manufacturer’s lineup of underwater crafts.

U-Boat Worx’s C-Explorer models have previously been used in dive operations to explore shipwrecks.
