Following a terror attack it is a sad reality that places can become more racist.

But in Canada, one social experiment shows that despite the recent Islamic terror attack, people will leap to the defence of a man who is being discriminated against.

So much so that the man carrying out the experiment ended up with a bloody face after being punched.

Introducing the video filmmaker Omar Albach said: ‘This is based on the events that happened in Ottawa,’ said filmmaker Omar Albach, referring to recent bloodshed in the Canadian capital.

‘We’re going to see if people feel safe to be around Muslims or people that look like Muslims.’
