I'm a dolphin who has found,
Love in the shape of a hound.
His name is Ben,
And he comes to see me again,
And again.
Oh, how I adore,
This golden Labrador,
Who waits upon the shore.
He's given me a new start,
And healed my broken heart.
Whatever the weather,
We try to get together.
If only he could squeak,
And had a nose more like a beak.
I've always liked to bougie,
Perhaps that's why they called me Doogie.
Our dog and dolphin dance,
Is part of a true romance.
I really do admire,
How he never seems to tire.
It's been a long wait,
To find my soul mate.
I love his furry coat,
More than waves behind a boat.
The BBC,
Put us on TV,
In a programme called Country Life,
With me as a dog's wife!
National Geographic,
Marvelled at my peculiar pick,
But I'm sure you'll agree,
There's real love in this sea.
