Have you ever been a sailin'
Across the deep blue sea
The greenhorn's they be ailin'
That went to sea with me

Searchin' my sea for plunder
Ships will try to run from me
Just hear my cannon thunder
When they attempt to flee

We prey upon unlucky fools
Who cross our path at sea
Women, coin, fantastic jewels
Now they all belong to me!

The ports all know our name
And they hate to see us leave
We revel in our outlaw fame
For us there's no reprieve!

Until they catch & hang me
From yonder gallows tree
I say yo ho me fellow matey
It's a pirate's life for me! !
