I hold my Baby bottle close
Baby, help this baby grow
'Baby Kitten, find your home
bottle-feed you in Georgia.'

Baby on a Greyhound bus
the world all looks the same to us
home is where my heart is yours
Baby, hear this kitten purr
Baby, bottle-feed me here.

Baby Kitten under the Georgia trees
Baby Kitten, catch the leaves
don't they all smell like peaches?
Winter comes, warm my bottle
summer sweet river water

Baby, here under the trees
I'll wear your Baby Kitten collar
and in the winter's crystalites
I'll hide under a feather,
I'll hide under your feathers.

And we'll write little kitten poems
out of our beautiful skin and bones
until all the hidden beauty is shown
and our under-world is overgrown
with so much love we'll never be alone

I hold my Baby bottle close
this Baby Kitten is going home.
