To be fair, please know within this poet lies no greed
So how can she fairly access or put into art another mans evil need.
I suppose I observe greed on a daily basis, a seven deadly sin,
But never had demons drive me to win material things at my whim.
So should I talk about others, who clearly have the dollars in their eyes?
No, I’d rather just be aware to keep a keen eye out for greed’s devils in disguise.
Because the only way it affects me is so minimal in kind.
They take my stuff, I shrug and say ok and leave that belonging behind.
Material things do not matter, I must have lived this life before,
And been taught that lesson because it’s a mystery how I don’t care if I’m poor.
I’ve been focused all my life on anything but greed.
Take my crap if you want, then I’ll know you’re a snake I don’t need.
I assigned myself to write about the seven deadly sins,
But man honestly when the greed came up, I had no clue where to begin.
So I’ll stop with what I know, Good Luck you greedy bastards,
I’ve seen you but don’t care, you have no idea what matters.
