The moon shines bright ‘neath a blanket of black
In mere twilight shall I find what I seek
My inquiry isn't on the beaten track
I search with zeal though my prospects are bleak
My eyes are keen and my feet fall with grace
I search for creatures forgotten and lost
I must succeed at this endeavored chase
I must find magic no matter the cost
At last I came upon a small old man
So I began talking as we broke bread
He said that he was part of a wise clan
And so this is verily what he said
If magic’s what you seek then look inside
Let it not be tainted by follied pride
