We are the world; we are the team
Time long ago dimmed our gleam
Shelling the dwelling -thorns on a bent cactus
When greedy eyes bleed with malpractice
The louder the voice, the higher the status
Bad blood-and-guts, -stabbing cuts are gratis
Every morning, midday and sunset
Summer does surrender and undress
And the fall of it all, the loud calls
So hard to climb over wintry walls
At nightfall when all alone with no tranquility
Absent are: stability, gentility and humility
My soul far removed from tranquil………
Or be it forever very thankful!
My heart jumps not with joy
Skips a beat: To predict the next ploy
Has love worn out its white masque?
When every nuances taken to task
Last time I looked up the word perfection
- Sacrifice did not cross my direction-
Juliet’s forever lies beside her Romeo
My human poison the nerves of polio
Perfect love lived on a shade of time
Time on my side, yet void of rhyme
Othello’s jealousy daily fears spread
His communion my hardened bread
We can all be masters; the evil masters
Can be truly followed into awful disasters
Which are never fair and but always proud
Doubts at will, my will, is always loud
From the good book revelation doctrine
The three witches double my guilty shrine
It’s by no accident design the beast curses
Through the makeup of my fallen six verses
I am as they guild ridden led to slaughter
My abyss the final entry on this blotter
We Are The World; A Tragic Overture!
