In seasons past the fustian class
That is those who toiled and broiled.
Would always bear truth,
To the faults of their youth,
As an example to those that do follow.

But in the current climate of me
The self can no longer admit it or see,
That the weakness itself, is not to declare,
That a fault can be cleansed by admission,
But our pride will not risk that derision.
