When my mind stops its chatter
And my soul surfaces from within
Like the ripe harvest moon
Casting its magic on autumn's lake
In meditative rays of tranquility
Like two lovers on their midnight walk
Hand in hand in tune with silence
And peace in full display
Sighing the joys of life
That invisible bond of oneness
Uniting essence of man to nature
Where true harmony fully resides
In joyful thanksgiving
All eyes salute the breath of life
In the stillness of the mind
That finally rests in its nest
And my soul's heart flies free at last!
