Absorb the world just like a sponge,
Those vexed feelings, learn to expunge
Regale others, partake a cause,
Learn to open, not close my door
May all my sorrows be transient,
May all my ties withstand life's tests
Fill one's days with benevolence,
Learn regrets, never lose sense
Appreciate a rainy day,
As in time the sun will replace
Realise the fortune I obtain,
Realise my faults and make a change
Breathe one's breath and savour the chore,
Reinvent one's self, don't conform
Show discernment, settling scores,
Don't fear your dreams, be self-assured
Some birds, are not meant to be caged,
A lesson learnt and wisdom gained
As painful as it was to learn,
A love, which another could spurn
Time has healed, now I won't refrain,
From opening my heart once again
I loved you so, I did implore,
I feared once, I could love no more
