Who are we to each other that this love is so deep?
I am your wind that blows across the open prairie
You are my tall grass that lives only to wave in the breeze
You are my perfect pearl in the depths of the ocean
I am your oyster living only to nurture you
I am your sky that paints the backdropp of your magnificence
You are my sun that sets to create the perfect lovers’ sunset
You are my harvest moon stunningly close yet unreachable
I am your stars that you rise to join in the autumn sky
I am your soil, rich in the earth’s nutrients
You are my perfect rose, rising from my sustenance
You are my heart charging my body with life
I am your soul filling your body with vital force
So again I ask…
Who are we to each other that this love is so deep?
Simply stated…
We are to each that which makes whole the other
Without whom the each would not be half as much as the whole
