The weather's right, I taste the chill
I climb the unyielding hill
And gaze in awe at the other side
Acceptable now the light has died
Sodium lava into the distance
Conurbation's conspicuous existence
Resplendant in electro glow
Yet far enough removed below
In the darkness this vista wins
But when the dawn begins
My valley fills with swirling mist
The man made delights desist
The sun, the weather colour my hills
And provide me with my daily thrills
The majesty of wondrous nature
Pleases me as I relate t'yer
The unique topography
Of the priceless prize I see
This side of the hill is my desire
And then inside to light a fire
