O Catholic guilt!
His distant mother was cremated
somewhere in Italy.

Her remains in a cake-mix box
to save postage
for that burning excursion
back home to him.

He received the box,
baked the cake
and so he ate her.

Two weeks later, he felt full
when the letter arrived

To inform him with fine scrawl
that she was
forever with him.
