Today is the second day of a 48 hour nationwide student strike to demand that the 43 Ayotzinapa Teachers Training College students kidnapped by police and missing since September 26 be returned alive and well. The Mexican Senate is discussing whether to dissolve the Guerrero state government and dismiss Governor Angel Aguierre, charged with inaction and links with the fugitive mayor of Iguala, where the incident took place, but the final decision has been postponed to October 30.
