Talks with government officials have not moved their case forward, but pro-democracy demonstrators are marching on... this time, to the home of Hong Kong's leader CY Leung.

The are angry at remarks he made this week... that more democracy was unacceptable, in part, because it would result in poorer people having more say in politics.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) PAN DEMOCRAT LEGISLATOR AND PROTESTER, LEUNG KWOK-HUNG, SAYING:

"I think it's a shame. No politicians, no statesman on this earth, would make a comment like this to bring those low wage earner(s) become an obstacle of universal suffrage."

The protesters are demanding the right to vote for their own leader in 2017, and are pushing for full democracy in Hong Kong.

And despite the breakdown of talks between student protest leaders and senior officials earlier this week, they say the fight will go on.
