Barcelona, 21 Oct (EFE).- Ajax manager Frank de Boer regretted the poor performance from his players in the first half of their Champions League game against Barcelona at the Camp Nou, which they lost 3-1.



The Dutchman admitted in the post-match press conference that he was "disappointed and angry" with his players for the first forty five minutes, in which, in his opinion, Barcelona could have sealed the game.



"In the break, I was very angry because we could have played much better, the players had to show how good they were and the didn't." De Boer stated, adding that his men showed too much respect for their opponents.
