Chakli is an Indian tea time snack made specially during Diwali.
Ingredients:
250 gms चकली भाजनी आटा
1 tsp लाल मिर्च पाउडर
हल्दी
1 Tsp अजवाइन
1 Tsp तिल
नमक
8 Tbsp तेल
Method:
- Heat oil and water in two seperate small bowls
- In round bottom bowl, take flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, carrom seeds, sesame seeds, salt, oil, water and mix everything well and cover it as it is for 5 - 7 mins
- Knead the dough well by adding water as required
- Take a chakli maker and apply some water inside the maker
- Stuff the dough into the maker completely
- Press out the chakli dough on a butter papper or a plastic sheet in circular direction and close both the ends
- Deep fry the chakli on both the sides and the chakli is made.
