Syrian Kurds in the city of Kobani close to the Turkish border have managed to resist further advances by Islamic State (IS) militants. Yesterday the US-led coalition made 21 airstrikes against the IS in Kobani, but not all are certain to what degree the allied airstrikes have helped. teleSUR
