Saif Ali Khan, who is known for his tongue-in-cheek humour, was at his wittiest best at the trailer launch of his next, Happy Ending.

Playing a Hollywood writer, who is made to write a Bollywood script, Saif said the film is a progressive spoof on romantic comedies. "I must have enacted loud roles earlier, but this one is subtle."

The director duo Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru said that the film is tailor-made for Saif. Also present were the film's leading ladies, Ileana D'Cruz and Kalki Koechlin along with Ranvir Shorey and producer Dinesh Vijan. Govinda, who plays one of the pivotal roles in the film was conspicuous by his absence. Ileana called her on screen hero a mix of fidgety, calm and at times, moody, but unbelievably entertaining.
