Photographer Aurora Dora created this unique timelapse footage of the lunar eclipse from Alaska on October 8. It features over 1,200 photographic images put together to recreate the movement of the northern lights.
She told Storyful, “it was hard to decide whether to look to the south at the moon or to the north at the northern lights. I was prepared, had 2 cameras, and shot the auroras dancing through the sky and the ice moving on the river. The moon light changed so much during the eclipse reflecting the changing in intensity and brightness of the auroras.” Credit: Facebook/Aurora Dora
