An explosion in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi killed at least one person and injured another on Friday, authorities said.
Both victims were said to be inside their vehicle when the explosion took place opposite the Tibesti hotel.
The reasons for the blast are not yet known. Security officials say the two victims have been identified and established as not being related to the two warring parties fighting within the city.
Three years after the civil war that toppled veteran leader Muammar Gaddafi, Libya is in anarchy. The elected parliament has been holed up in Tobruk, east of Benghazi, since the government lost control of the capital Tripoli to an armed group from the west of the country in August.
