Lisa Carter Knight was booted from a Jet Blue flight and says that she was targeted by the company because of her tweets about a delay.
Lisa Carter-Knight was booted from a JetBlue flight out of Philadelphia International Airport, and says that she was targeted by the company because of her tweets about a delay.
Carter-Knight claims passengers had been onboard the plane for about an hour awaiting takeoff when the pilot announced that he’d been accused of drinking.
As a result, everybody had to get off of the plane while he underwent a sobriety test.
According to Carter-Knight, one passenger did quip that he hoped the plane’s bar was fully stocked.
Other passengers reported that they had, indeed, heard somebody ask the pilot if the flight was late because he’d been at the bar.
The pilot was ultimately cleared of wrongdoing, but it took hours.
While all of that was going on, Carter-Knight posted several comments about the delay and the pilot.
When it came time to get back on the plane she said they wouldn’t let her board. She also reported that she was denied booking on another flight.
Carter-Knight believes it was because she spoke about JetBlue unfavorably.
JetBlue has responded to the accusation, saying that they denied her reentry because she was exhibiting ‘unruly behavior’.
