The Queens Medical Center in Honolulu has isolated a patient who doctors believe MAY have Ebola.
The hospital says the patient's symptoms are NOT consistent with the deadly virus but that it is acting out of "a heightened sense of awareness" of the disease.
SOUNDBITE: DR. MICHELLE VIRAY SAYING, QUEENS MEDICAL CENTER, SAYING:
"Whether or not this individual has Ebola, we took all the precautions to make sure that if this was, that nobody else is going to get sick."
Tests results to confirm if this is in fact Ebola will take a few days because samples have to be sent to the mainland.
Another patient confirmed to have Ebola is receiving treatment in Dallas.
His case has prompted national concern that the deadly virus from West Africa could spread even further in the U.S.
