Luigi and Rocco, sons of a shepherd with links to the ’Ndrangheta, the Calabrian Mafia, are involved in international drug trafficking. Luciano, their brother, is a shepherd like their dead father, who was killed by a rival family. He takes care of the family land and decides not to become involved in his brothers' affairs. Despite his efforts to protect his own family from this violent and bitter heritage, his son Leo is attracted by this world, where the law of blood and revenge rule.
