TeleSUR correspondent Stephanie Kennedy reports from Brazil that between 2002 and 2013 extreme poverty dropped from 15% to 5.2% , while general poverty went from 34% to 15%. Furthermore, under the Worker's Party the average minimum monthly wage rose to US$305.00 from US$86.00, bringing 42 million Brazilians out of poverty and 38 million into the middle class. teleSUR
