Unless you pony up for a sleeper coach, long distance train travel is not a comfortable experience.

Recently, photos have surfaced showing how travelers in China deal with the inconvenience of taking a long train trip.

One couple resorted to lying on their seats, cuddled up next to one another. Basically, the pair turned their seating arrangement into a makeshift bed.

Others stuck to staying in the upright position, but with a few tweaks. Take one man who used the head rest covering to keep his head upright.

Another creative passenger used a scarf to keep his face covered and in place, which is actually rather wise considering that once a sleepy head starts falling to the side, the body typically follows and can land on the floor.

Of course, these methods won’t work for everyone. Cramped seating left one individual with his legs wrapped around his head. Another unlucky train passenger who was stuck standing placed a leg against the wall to catch a few moments of rest.

Have you tried any of these techniques to take a nap?
