Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan issues raised at United Nations

Geneva, Sept 29: Deteriorating security situation and violations of human rights in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan were raised during the 27th Session of United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. During an event, political and human rights activists highlighted the gruesome political and security situation in Azad Kashmir, an occupied territory ruled directly by Islamabad. Exiled Kashmiri leader Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri showed his concern over the growing interference of Pakistan’s Army and spy agencies in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
