Deesa: In yet another jolt to the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat, the no-confidence motion against the party chairman in Deesa Municipality in Banaskantha district brought by opposition Congress was passed with overwhelming majority. The no-confidence motion brought by Congress member Prakash Bharatia against chairman Tejal Patel and vice-chairman Nilesh Thakkar was passed by 26-9. One member remained absent.
