ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION)

Philipp Plein surprised his audience on Friday (September 19) with a show entitled 'Apocalypse Abyss', which gave the impression of taking place on the ocean floor as his models strutted though a dazzling sound, light and soft sculpture show. Starting with dresses obviously inspired by the 1950s with their tight tops and long crinoline skirts in a boldly coloured palette, the spring/summer 2015 women's show also featured various combinations of jackets and shorts accessorized with flat sandals adorned with studs and sparkles. Chain-trimmed shrunken leather biker vests teamed with puff-ball skirts or tailored shorts were also sported by models around the theatrical space. Rhinestone stripes appeared on stovepipe jeans followed by rhinestone toucans and parrots on every type of garment.
