Argentine Chamber of Deputies approve reforms to Supply Law

The Argentine Chamber of Deputies approved the Consumer Defense Laws, which are three important reforms to the Supply Law. In a close vote, members of the ruling party approved the laws, with big business and almost all the opposition voting against. These reforms will create a Price Observatory and a new legal code for consumer defense, which proponents say will allow the State to better defend consumers against the abuses of businesses.
