Ukraine signs agreement to strengthen EU ties

The Ukrainian government has signed an agreement to deepen its political and economic ties with the European Union. A similar agreement was rejected last year by then-president Viktor Yanukovych, which led to his ousting and months of turmoil in the country. The vote on the agreement was unanimous in parliament. teleSUR
