Dame Angela Lansbury, five-time Tony award winner, Hollywood legend and super-sleuth star of "Murder She Wrote" was honored by the American Theatre Wing in New York.
The nonprofit organization celebrated its 97th anniversary of service to the American theater by rolling out the red carpet for the 88-year-old British star with its annual gala.
James Earl Jones was Lansbury's co-star in the Australian stage production of "Driving Miss Daisy."
