In commemorating the 41th anniversary of the coup d'etat in Chile that overthrew the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende, President Michelle Bachelet called upon those who may have information about the whereabouts of the "dissapeared" to furnish such data to the courts. Hundreds of cases are in the Chilean courts and there is no information available on what happened to the bodies of the dissapeared and therefore no sentences are being handed down against those responsible for the crimes of the military regime. teleSUR
