"DESIGUAL" Fashion Show Spring Summer 2014 New York HD by Fashion Channel
For Spring/Summer 2014, Managing Director of Desigual, Manel Jadraque presented a flirty Mediterranean inspired collection filled with colorful prints, polka dots, stripes and weightless fabrics.
This is the first time Desigual showed at New York Fashion Week and the Spanish fashion brand did not disappoint. The collection titled 'For Everybody Sex, Fun & Love' featured a variety of black and white mod inspired pieces, bohemian dresses, over-sized hats, jackets, and airy tops and bottoms. The collection was divided into three themes; fun, love and sex. The show opened with the theme of fun. Eye-catching animal prints, bold symbols and sixties references burst onto the scene and got the party started. The love portion of the show featured hippie chic garments which had an air of romanticism. The final portion of the show, sexy featured beautiful black sheer dresses with sequins and beading. Transparency and weightlessness was intricately woven throughout each piece sent down the runway especially during the later part of the show. This added to the optimistic and care-free nature that defines the brand.
