"ALEXANDER WANG" Full Show Spring Summer 2015 New York by Fashion Channel
Alexander Wang presented his much anticipated collection at Pier 94 in Manhattan. The spring/summer pieces once again fused the designer's street sensibility with high fashion. Wang's inspiration for the collection came from sneakers, which could be seen through the prints and patterns reminiscent of the popular footwear.
With street-style sneakers as a leitmotif, Alexander Wang unveiled a feminine and sporty collection for next hot season, punctuated by a beauty look of glowing skin and slicked-back hair.
Models strutted down the runway in sporty futuristic dresses and crop tops paired with woven wedges and fishnet sandals. Wang, who doubles as the creative director for Balenciaga, proved he still knows how to make the downtown girls feel chic.
