A missing woman in Indiana has been found alive and the suspects allegedly responsible for holding her captive are now going through the legal system.

The victim, Joelle Lockwood went missing on July 9th of this year. She was discovered inside a mobile home located in Posey County where she was reportedly held locked in a cage.

She was found in the home of 37-year-old Ricky Roy House, Jr. and his girlfriend 44-year-old Kendra Tooley. A man named Ron Higgs is responsible for saving her.

This past Thursday, he received a call from Tooley, who is his ex-wife, asking him for money. He arrived at the couple’s mobile home later that afternoon.

It didn’t take long for House to show Higgs the cage where Lockwood was kept. According to Higgs she had a leather belt, resembling a dog collar, on. The victim was placed in the cage every night without food or water.

The couple forced her to cook and clean their house. Eventually after hearing Lockwood’s pleas, Higgs was able to convince the suspects to let them leave the residence unharmed, despite being allegedly threatened at gunpoint.

The police were alerted and Lockwood was taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed physically she is in good health. The couple has been arrested and are facing ‘preliminary charges of rape and criminal confinement.’

Reportedly, Lockwood knew House from her school days and accepted a ride from him on the date she went missing.
