STORY: Mel Brooks has left his mark in cinema with his long-lasting, six decade plus career, and now he's literally left his mark in Hollywood - and boy is it a hoot. The 88-year-old funnyman, director of milestone comedies like "Young Frankenstein" and "Blazing Saddles," is also an eternal practical joker who will likely be making tourists visiting Los Angeles chuckle decades after he is gone. To achieve that, at a ceremony honoring him at tourist mecca TCL Chinese Theatre, he wore a prosthesis on his left hand to give his cement imprint some "extra" pizzaz. "Just in case somebody from Des Moines, Iowa says 'Harry, Harry, look, Mel Brooks had six fingers on his left hand!' Anyway, it's my job to make people laugh, and I hope this peps up the cement business here at Grauman's Chinese," said Brooks, who also took his chance in the limelight to chastise photographers and do his famous Hitler impression, proving that Mel Brooks is truly the gift
