Britain's Prince William arrived in Oxford on Monday (September 8) to open a new China Centre, hours after the announcement that he and his wife Kate are expecting their second baby.

A little girl presented William with flowers as well-wishers stood outside St. Hugh's College, Oxford, where he is set to formally open the Dickson Pool University of Oxford China Centre building.

The baby will be fourth-in-line to the British throne, after grandfather Prince Charles, father William and elder brother George, the couple's first child who was born in July last year.

William's office said Kate, age 32, was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, an acute morning sickness which causes severe nausea and vomiting and requires supplementary hydration and nutrients, a condition that led to her hospitalisation in the early months of pregnancy with her first child.
