[] As a former smoker I vary from having my respiratory system negatively effected, especially during allergies or a cold, to it making me want to smoke again 10+ years as a non-smoker. These days I'm most irritated in situations where my young daughter is forced to inhale second hand smoke due to bad manners of the smoker.

It is really hard to understand until you live completely smoke free (not just not smoking but no second hand smoke in bars, friends, etc.) for awhile.
