Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday unsuccessfully advised the Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and tried to convince him not to proceed with his planned press conference, Dunya News reported.
Reportedly, Ch Nisar refused to cancel his press conference scheduled for tomorrow.
The meeting between the Interior Minister and Prime Minister continued for over three hours and both leaders exchanged views over the ongoing political crisis in the country.
Prime Minister reportedly recommended the Interior Minister not to indulge in anymore bitterness with opposition leaders, fearing it will escalate situation.
Ch Nisar responded by saying that he wants to exhibit a document in the scheduled presser.
