An interviewer hit a stumbling block on August 29 while talking to a seven-foot seven-inch man called Mariusz La Shad. As a performer with the Circus of Horrors in the UK, Mariusz refuses to break character, and instead “bombards you with continuous soundboard-like anecdotes and one-liners.” The interviewers from TIG Media said Mariusz was an entertaining, happy character, but certain problems can arise when accommodating his hefty frame.

Dr Haze from the Circus of Horrors group said: “We never really thought about his sleeping and travelling arrangements when we booked him for the show….It was only when Mariusz asked where he was staying that we realised he needed a bed that was 8 feet long and a high-roofed car to get him there."
