Second volcano eruption starts in Holuhraun

The second Holuhraun effusive lava eruption began early yesterday morning, and has produced considerably more lava than the first lava eruption in Holuhraun, Iceland. The lava flows are now several kilometres long and the fissure is believed to be 1800 meters long. Lava fountains on the fissure extended up to 100 meters high.
