Pilots in their Malaysia Airlines uniforms lined up to pay their respects Tuesday to Captain Eugene Choo Jin Leong.

He was one of the pilots aboard Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 which was shot down over eastern Ukraine in July as it flew from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

He was given full military honours for the ceremony.

His wife, along with other family members, friends and co-workers attended the somber memorial.

His remains, and those of eight other Malaysians, were brought back from Amsterdam Tuesday.

Fellow pilot, Captain Azlan Abu Bakar, accompanied the bodies.
